'Le Wippi' shuttle sails the waters of Lake Massawippi during the summer. It is intended for cyclists and pedestrians to cross the lake between the municipalities of Ayer's Cliff and North Hatley.
With a capacity of 12 people, with or without their bikes, the boarding points are located at the municipal wharves of Ayer's Cliff (Route 141, facing the rest area) and North Hatley (Main Street, facing School Street). It is necessary to reserve your place. Each trip takes approximately one hour.
'Le Wippi' is equipped with supports to keep the bikes in place during the trip. It's a great way to connect Les Grandes-Fourches bike path (via the Axis du Sommet or the Axis de la Massawippi) to the Tomifobia Nature Trail.
For the 2019 season, the boat sails 7 days a week, 6 trips per day and will therefore ensure the continuous transportation of cyclists and pedestrians.
The Wippi is in operation from June 22nd to September 2nd, as well as during the autumn weekends until Thanksgiving inclusively.
